This week's rendering project.
We were given an illustration of a building(the villa rotunda), and had to model and texture it from scratch, and include two different trees in the scene.
At this point, the biggest thing I need to deal with is the ground. If anyone has some advice on how to blend two textures together to make an edge, I'd love to hear it. If I can't figure anything else out, I'll just put in some tall grass for now.
But comments on anything else would be cool as well.
I dicked around with render settings, something I did resulted in that neat reflectivity on the marble. I like it, but I need to figure out how to turn it down. So if anyone has a reccomendation for a good walkthrough of Maya's render settings, I would love to see it.
